The department arranges and conducts lectures, seminars, classes and practical training of students of film and television directing, editing, cinematography, screenplay writing and production. Every student makes one short film a year, two short television shows and submits a series of practical tasks in cinematography, editing and directing. In terms of the practical implementation of student films and shows, the department closely cooperates with the Slovenian Film Centre, the national television broadcaster and other related institutions.
